Engine have appointed Gen Kobayashi as Chief Strategy Officer for their Creative division, he will join the Engine team in May 2020 and report directly to Ete Davis, Engine Creative CEO.
Gen will work closely with Ete and the leadership team in order to secure Engine’s ambition of building the modern creative agency and placing brand and brand purpose at the forefront when driving innovation and growth for businesses.
For the past 5 years, Gen has been at Ogilvy UK as Head of Strategy leading brand strategy for clients including Expedia, Kronenbourg 1664 and Vodafone. He has also held key roles at agencies including Adam & Eve/DDB, DLKW Lowe and The Brooklyn Brothers.
