Hanks leads Kargo’s global growth in new Victorious Partnership

Owen Hanks, previously General Manager, Europe at YuMe, has been announced as General Manager, International of Kargo, the leaders in mobile brand advertising.

Kargo’s extension into the international marketplace follows a year of momentum in 2015 in which Kargo was named one of the fastest growing companies in the US by Inc. magazine. The opening of the London office, headed by Owen, is Kargo’s first global presence outside the US.

The company runs an invitation-only media alliance, which includes over 300 publishers, is poised to grow as publishers extend their offerings with Kargo to international markets. At launch, Kargo will be working with leading brands and publishers including Unilever, MailOnline and Hearst UK.

Owen will report to Kargo’s Chief Strategy Officer, Doug Rohrer, bringing more than 20 years of experience in the media, advertising and technology industries to the role.
