On the 18th April, Advertising Week Europe will once again throw open its doors to the advertising, media and marketing communities. This year, our industry’s leading festival will move to an amazingly spacious new home at Picturehouse Central, right by Piccadilly Circus.
As co-producers of the annual thought leadership programme, the Lighthouse is delighted to be curating two fantastic seminars based on the strength, determination and resilience it takes to manage and succeed in a personal comeback. We will be in conversation with This Morning presenter Jeff Brazier, who has battled personal trauma and tragedy to excel in his TV career as well as establishing a burgeoning career as a life and business coach. ‘Jeff Brazier, the Comeback Coach’ will take place on the Getty Images Stage at 2.45pm on Monday 18th April.
Our second session will be an up close and personal with ex-World Heavyweight Champion David Haye, who won his comeback fight with a knock-out in 131 seconds, over three years since he was last in the ring. David has come back from serious injury to find winning form, with a very different approach to the management and leadership of the team around him. Definitely not one to be missed. ‘The Comeback with David Haye’ will take place on the ITV Stage at 3pm on Tuesday 19th April.
So as Advertising Week Europe makes its own annual comeback, make sure you do whatever you can to get your hands on a ticket. Where else can you see Sir Martin Sorrell, Jerry Buhlmann and Michael Roth live in one week. And our industry’s biggest names will be accompanied by leading lights from many other fields, with singer and TV presenter Alesha Dixon, BBC 6Music’s Lauren Laverne, actor Richard E Grant, model Daisy Lowe, Blur bassist Alex James and the controversial Piers Morgan all set to share their worldly insights to our attendees.
This year’s brochure also makes an exceptional read with contributions from Arianna Huffington, Facebook’s Steve Hatch, the IPA’s Paul Bainsfair, entrepreneur Sam Branson, venture capitalist Eileen Burbridge, Campaign’s Editor-in-Chief Claire Beale, Tracy de Groose from Dentsu Aegis, Jamie Oliver, Google’s Eileen Naughton and Josh Graff from LinkedIn to name but a few. Even if you can’t make it to Picturehouse Central, don’t miss this very compelling collection of insight, thought leadership and agenda setting.
