Eight contenders vie for the inaugural Media Leader of the Year

As part of a long-term partnership with Haymarket’s Campaign, the Lighthouse is proud to announce the shortlist for the very first Media Leader of the Year.

The shortlist, drawn up from more that 30 entries, highlights the amazing breadth of great leadership within the media and advertising scene in the UK and beyond. The eight contenders will now face a public vote before a final decision is made by the awards judging panel.

Those in the running for this ‘Gold Award’ at the Media Week Awards are: Jenny Biggam, co-founder of the7stars, Mike Cooper, global chief executive of PHD, Verica Djurdjevic, UK chief executive of PHD, Josh Krichefski, UK chief executive of MediaCom, Naren Patel, chief executive of Primesight, Tim Pearson, chief executive of Manning Gottlieb OMD, David Pemsel, chief executive of Guardian Media Group, and James Wildman, president and chief executive of Hearst UK.

The Media Week Awards take place on Thursday 11th October, 2018 where the winner of this coveted award will be announced alongside 26 other awards.
