Hamish Nicklin, previously AOL’s UK managing director, will be joining The Guardian in the newly-created role of chief revenue officer.
In our latest Victorious Partnership, Hamish will report into CEO of Guardian Media Group, David Pemsel, overseeing all of the Guardian’s advertising revenues, jobs business and branded content division, Guardian Labs. Sitting on the group’s executive committee, he will b responsible for building relationships with clients and media agencies internationally.
Prior to joining AOL, Hamish spent nine years as director of agency sales at Google.
