Exterion Media takes Nigel Clarkson outdoors as Chief Revenue Officer

Exterion Media names Nigel Clarkson as UK chief revenue officer, a newly created role for the out-of-home business.

Reporting directly to Dave King, the company’s UK managing director, Nigel, who left his post at Oath in December, will be charged with leading collaboration across the business and heading up its commercial board which will bring together all commercial elements in the business, including national and local sales, data, creative, marketing, communications and digital.

He has previously held senior roles in outdoor competitors such as Primesight and Clear Channel before becoming commercial director and managing director at Weve, which led to his move to Yahoo and subsequently Oath following the merger with AOL.

Dave King, UK MD Exterion Media, commented: “Nigel is passionate about out-of-home, and brings extensive senior-level experience across mobile, digital and out-of-home, which will help shape the future commercial growth of the business. Nigel joins on 16 April as Exterion Media embark on a £90m digital expansion strategy.
