Tomorrow's Life Choices

Tomorrow’s Life Choices – a specially created teen careers’ evening – was launched in June 2015 and to date has seen over 250 young people progress through the programme since its inception.

The evening is aimed at teenagers between the ages of 15 and 18 offering real world advice and tips from those most in the know within the advertising and media sector – all taking place in the comfortable surroundings of our West End offices.

We are delighted to open this evening to the children, nieces, nephews and godchildren of those we closely work with; client or candidate.

In setting up Tomorrow’s Life Choices, our aim has been to give an objective, open and honest view of how young people can best improve future employment prospects and what to embrace (and avoid) along the way. As one of our guests, the evening gives a unique perspective…

These bespoke sessions are open to up to 30 teenagers, and are hosted in a speed-dating style by some of the industries biggest, most impressive leaders. At the end of each session attendees will leave armed with top tips on the job seeking process such as researching the job; interview technique; honing a perfect CV; making the most of social media and getting your appearance just right.

We’ve been privileged to welcome career mentors from leading businesses such as Shortlist Media Group, MediaCom, Google, Snapchat, Twitter, Facebook and Hearst. We have been hugely fortunate to have the likes of Mike Soutar share his interview wisdom at two of our events; his hugely respected business acumen shone through, but his appearances on The Apprentice grilling contestants added an extra ‘glamorous’ edge.

Our next event will take place on Tuesday 13th October 2020 from 6.30pm to c.8.30pm.

Previous events have shown the attendees may feel more comfortable attending with a friend, so we’re delighted to offer a plus one for every attendee. However, this is not essential as every attendee will be very carefully looked after by the Lighthouse team.

Please note spaces will be offered on a first come, first serve basis. In the event our October evening is fully booked, we will be more than delighted to hold a space for future events.
