A new posterboy for OOH as Mashable’s Maher joins JCDecaux

Ben Maher, previously Mashable’s Executive Director EMEA is set to join out-of-home giant JCDecaux as sales and partnership director.

Reporting to co-CEO Spencer Berwin, Ben has been tasked to strengthen the company’s relationships and partnerships with clients and agencies. In particular, Ben’s impeccable digital credentials are hugely advantageous at a time when JCDecaux has invested heavily in digitising its network of OOH sites, including the roll out of 1,000 digital screens in anticipation of 50 per cent of its UK advertising revenues to be come from digital.

Prior to taking his role at Mashable, Ben held a variety of commercial roles at organisations including WEVE, Endemol, Fox Interactive, AOL and Yahoo!

At the same time as Ben’s appointment, JCDecaux also promoted company veteran Dallas Wiles to the role of Commercial Director.
